Genoa vs AC Milan - 3rd December, 2011

This was a match ridden with chances on goal for both sides but the goals did not come until the 56th minute of the game. Both sides had closed defences and the keepers were on point until Genoa gave away a penalty which Ibra wasted no time in converting.

Being a goal up was not enough for us however so we kept chipping away at the Genoa defence with Robinho missing a goal by sending the ball over the bar from a few feet away. Finally, Milan got their second goal in the 79th minute from Nocerino who carefully directed a pass across the goal from Boateng into the Genoa net.

Despite being 2 goals up in the last quarter of the match Milan kept hounding the Genoa defence while keeping a hold on ball possession. All in all, the match was a fun game to watch and we are now topping the league table but we have a championship match coming up next, see you there!!!

AC Milan vs Chievo - 27th November, 2011

For this match, Thiago Silva was our esteemed captain and he showed good leadership by starting out a goal fest in the 8th minute of the game. After a dribble by Boateng who layed the ball down, Thiago delivered a stunning delivery that ripped through the defence and into the left corner of the goal.

The second goal came from Ibrahimovich who delivered a skillful lob at the edge of the area which the goalkeeper could not keep out. It was one of those Ibra signature moves that even the commentators recognised and acclaimed.

The third goal came from a corner kick which the keeper initially saved but was rebounded beautifully by Pato who skillfully displaced the keeper. Pato was not done however, as he played a major role in causing the fourth and final goal of the match.

After executing a beautiful dribble, Pato made a run into the Chievo box where he was promptly rumpled by the Chievo defence resulting in a penalty kick for us. The penalty was taken by Ibra who once again showed his amazing skill infont of the goal with a top right corner penalty that the keeper neither anticipated or expected.

All in all, Milan was sharp in front of goal, and tight at the back which I personally think is what is needed to win any match. This was a match worth watching and now we look forward to our next match, see you there.

AC Milan vs Catania - 6th November, 2011

This was another spectacular match by the Rossoneri which ended in a 4-0 win at the San Siro. Milan got their first goal when Robinho was fouled in the box and a penalty was awarded and was taken by Ibrahimovich. Ibrahimovich and Robinho collaborated again to get the second goal when Robinho recieved a cross from Ibra and proceeded to dance his way into the Catania box then delivered the ball to the back of the net with a great right foot shot.

Robinho was not done yet even after getting a penalty and scoring a goal, he was still active at the front and this resulted in the 3rd goal from a close range shot which could not be stopped. With 3 goals to their name, Milan was not satisfied however and went on to seal the victory with a final goal from Zambrotta who rebounded a freekick taken by Aquilani.

This win moved Milan to the third position on the league table putting us one point behind the league leaders. We are optimistic about the coming matches as it seems that Milan is gradually rising to form, see you at the next match.

AS Roma vs AC Milan - 29th October, 2011

We went to Rome with high expectations looking forward to carting 3pts away on our way back and we did it. We got an early goal in the 16th minute from Ibrahimovich when he used his head to guide a cross from Aquilani into the net. Our celebration was short lived as in the 27th minute, Roma equalised from a corner kick which was not adequately defended. But 2 minutes later, Milan were back in front when Nesta sent a corner kick into the net with a stunning header. Well, it seemed to be a day for headers and what wonderful headers they were.

It was a day for headers and it was also a day for suspensions as Boateng was red carded and coach Allegri was sent off from the field. Regardless of the turmoil on the field, Milan pushed on and got a third goal from an Aquilani-Ibrahimovic collaboration in the 77th minute of the game. The game was far from over as in the 86th minute Roma got yet another goal trying to make a comeback into the game.

Milan, however, were able to hang on till the final whistle of the game ending the match with 2-3 scoreline in favor of Milan. This was an interesting match to say the least, but its time to move on and focus on our next match. See you there...

AC Milan vs Parma - 26th October, 2011

This was another impressive match by the Rossoneri which resulted in a 4-1 win at the san siro. Our first goal came when Ibrahimovich sent in an impressive pass from the edge of the Parma box into the middle which Nocerino picked up and proceeded to convert. The second goal came from an impressive shot at the edge of the box by Nocerino which the Parma keeper couldn't save. milan was on a roll, and so was Nocerino as he chased his hat-trick.

It was Ibrahimovich however who gave us our tthird goal as he ran down the parma defence and proceeded to score one of his classy goals which we know him for. Milan was 3 goals up but a defence slack gave Parma the chance to get one goal in by Giovinco making it 3-1. milan was not done however, Nocerino had yet to complete his hat-trick which he proceeded to do in the extra-time given at the end of the game. This time he scored with an impressive header that ended the game on a high note for Milan.

We have every reason to celebrate as we have packed 6 points from 2 games, but we now have to prepare for the upcoming match against Roma. See you there.

Lecce vs AC Milan - 23rd October 2011

Wow...wow....wow...wow what a match!!! The first half looked like the end of the match for Milan as Lecce got their first inside the 4th minute of the game and then proceeded to score 2 more during the course of the first half leaving the score 3-0. I was more than devastated...i was crushed - as were all of the other Milan fans who were watching - but the second half was yet to come.

The second half came with Milan subbing Robinho and Ambrosini and putting in Boateng and Aquilani. The change seemed to be exactly what we needed as Boateng scored a goal within the first minute of the second half and then went on to score two more within 16 minutes leaving the match score at 3-3.

Milan was back in the game with a hattrick by Boateng gotten in 17minutes ... it was unbelivable...I screamed till i was hoarse then I resorted to running around till i couldn't move anymore, then i decide to share it with you guys.

Anyway, back to the game, we played level for a few minutes but then close to the end of the match, Yepes gave us our winning goal with an assist from Cassano. This was definitely a match to savor and remember. Milan came from a 3 goal deficit to win the match all in the second half.

After this match all I have to say is ... Forza Milan!!!

AC Milan vs FC Bate Borisov - 19th October 2011, UEFA Champions League

This was our third match in the UEFA league and we were searching for a win which we got. The match ended with a 2-nil victory for Milan.

We got our first goal from a rebound shot by Ibrahimovich in the 32nd minute of the game. The second goal came in the 69th minute when Boateng recieved a direct pass then unleashed an amazing shot which the Bate keeper had no hope of saving.

This win places us level with Barcelona as we both have 7points each. The next match is critical and I know we are all looking forward to it.

FORZA MILAN!!!

AC Milan vs Palermo- 15th October, 2011

The match ended with a 3-nil victory to Milan. It was our second victory since the start of the season and it seems we are finally getting closer to hitting our form. Milan dominated the game from start off to the final whistle.

We got our first goal shortly before half time from Antonio after a very nice well placed pass by Ibrahimovich to Aquilani was played back to the middle of the box where Antonio was waiting. Milan pressed on for a second goal and were rewarded with a goal from Robinho who calmly placed a pass recieved from Ibrahimovich into the back of the net. Howerver, Milan was not satisfied and kept pushing on for more goals. We got our final goal from Cassano who placed a pass recieved from Abate into the back of the net.

Like I said earlier this victory signifies Milan coming into form, I'm looking forward to our next match and I hope you are too. See you there, ciao

My Apology - I'm Very Sorry :(

Hey guys, I'm very sorry that I haven't covered our recent matches due to some difficulties on my part. The issue has not been fully resolved but I will try to cover our upcoming matches both in the Serie-A and in the Champions League. Once again I am very sorry.

AC Milan vs Inter Milan - 6th August, 2011 Supercoppa Italiana

This was a rivalry game as we all know, we were all hoping for a win, and we got it. At first it seemed that hard luck would bring us down as Ibra hit the post and some of our shots went wide. Inter got a goal first with a direct freekick from Wesley Sneijder but all hope was not lost as our team fought hard to get back in the game.

Ibrahimovich finally got the breakthrough when he guided a short cross from Seedorf into the net to bring Milan level with Inter. Then, we went ahead of Inter when Boateng rebounded Pato's shot sending it into the net. His celebration was phenomenal...someone's been learning karate...to say the least.

Overall, our team did good and I'm proud of them. The first match of the Serie A is coming up soon, looking forward to it. See you there.

Bayern Munich vs AC Milan - Audi Cup, 26th July 2011

This was the first competitive match of the season and it served as a scorecard to show us whether the team is on form or not. Ibrahimovich started the match for us by giving us an early lead when he recieved an overhead pass and proceeded to send it into the far corner of the Munich post.
However, our lead did not last as the home side equalised later and the match went on to penalties. We seemed to be doing good in the penalties until Paloschi stepped up and sent the ball over the Munich post and I'm like WTF!!! How do you take a penalty with enough force to send the ball over? This should be a lesson to Allegri...please chose your spot takers carefully based on experience, thank you.
Anyway long story short, we lost 5-3 at penalties which even though it was disappointing and damn right annoying we still did good as a team, we just need to buckle up...or rather Allegri needs to buckle up and chose players right.

Putting this behind us should be our next priority as we have a Supercoppa match coming up soon...see you there.

Udinese vs AC Milan - 22nd May 2011, match 38

This was the last match of the season and was just a formality as Milan have already claimed the title. The match was ok, we played well but it ended in a nil-nil draw which helped Udinese a lot but did nothing for us. But there is nothing to worry about since we did not need the match anyway.

Finally, the 2010-11 season has ended with Milan as the Italian champions. I'm happy with our Serie A campaign but I really hope we go further next season in our TIM Cup and the UEFA league. All-in-all it was a fun season full of drama, exhilarating performances, frustrating disappointments and most of all rejuvenating victory.

It was fun sharing this experience with you and I hope you had fun too. Ciao

AC Milan vs Cagliari - 14th May 2011, match 37

Wow...Amazing!!! There's nothing more to say. Our 4-1 win says it all for us. Seedorf, Gattuso and Robinho gave us our statement goals and the celebration that followed after, was phenomenal to say the least. I hope you guys joined in celebrating the end of Milan's title drought.

Ibrahimovich did not play but that was okay although I do find Allegri's penchant for keeping Ibra in the bench a bit disturbing. Pato, Robinho, Seedorf, Abate, even Zambrotta gave them something to think about. Our team played very well especially at the front as we hit their defence several times with quick succession. Our defence was marvelous as usual and our midfielders held their own. Even our substitutions were on point! Allegri and the team outdid themselves this time, giving us an entertaining match to kick off the celebrations.

The title is ours but the season has not yet ended, we still have one more match to go and I'll see you one last time this season. See u there.

Palermo vs AC Milan - 10th May 2011, TIM Cup Semi - Final, Second Leg

The match ended in a 2-1 loss for Milan eliminating us from the cup. I think Allegri's mistake was not playing Ibrahimovich in the starting line-up. I really, really wonder what he was thinking. We made lots of mistakes at the back which resulted in us conceding 2 goals - 1 from a penalty kick - all in the second half of the match. The only uplifting point of the match was when Ibrahimovich scored his goal in the 4th minute of the 5 minute extra time we were given.

Oh well, we're out but I'm glad we went out with a fight and no one can call us losers cos win or lose, we're winners. But I would say Allegri should watch himself next time when he is picking players for a match. If you have a good player, use him, don't keep him on the bench and hope for a miracle especially on important match days like this one.

Even though we have won the Scudetto already, we still have 2 more matches before the season ends.
See you at the next match.

AS Roma vs AC Milan - 7th May 2011, match 36

The match ended in a draw but we got that one point we needed to win our 18th Scudetto. Roma played well but they tired quickly while even though our game was slow, our defence was steady and our midfield was tight. Our strikers gave the opposition plenty to think about especially Ibrahimovich with his freekick.

The match saw the return of both Pato and Ibrahimovich to the team. Ibrahimovich started the match while Pato came in as a Sub for Robinho in the second half. Robinho had lost some chances and Boateng had lost some too, but I think the game was in our favour from the start.

The fans, those at the stadium and those watching from home , and the Milan bench were all at the edge of their seats or standing just waiting for that final whistle so they could start the celebration. Although the season is not officially over, I am proud to say that Milan has won the title.

To all Milan fans out there...Hurray!!!!

But do try to curb your excitements and celebration cos up next we have the second leg of the TIM cup at Palermo. See you there

AC Milan vs Bologna - 1st May 2011, match 35

The match started out very promising, with Flamini giving us the lead with a goal that left my jaw hanging for a few minutes. He scored a goal with skill!!! I couldn't believe it but the replay was right there for me to see...it was amazing. We dominated the first half which was a good thing but it seemed Cassano and Ambrosini were in some kind of a competition to see who could suck more...it was annoying. Cassano had no imagination whatsoever at the front and was always bringing the ball backwards. Ambrosini's job was to lose balls in midfield and give away free kicks. The second half was full of hair-pulling frustration as I watched our team go to sleep second by second. The Bologna team had several chances to sink us so it was just a matter of luck that we stayed afloat. After what seemed like a lifetime Allegri finally made subs, bringing in Pirlo and Beretta. They injected some life into the team and Beretta created some chances but his finishing isn't up to par yet. As usual, Nesta, Silva and Abate did a wonderful job at defence, Boateng and Seedorf did good in midfield though they could have done  better.

I was disappointed even though we won , but I'm looking forward to our next match because Ibrahimovich is returning and hopefully Pato too. See u there.

AC Milan vs Brescia - 23rd April 2011, match 34

The first part of the first half, we seemed to be dominating the game, creating chancing and keeping possession but all that changed in the latter parts of the first half all through to the end of the game. Brescia stopped waiting to hit us on the counter and decided to take the initiative, hitting our defence again and again. I'm just glad our defence held strong even with Abiatti having injury issues. Our midfield was ok but our game play was too freaking slow. Abate tried to inject some speed, but when your teammates aren't speeding up with you it's hard to maintain a fast pace. Our strikers did not perform well at all...they missed too many clear cut chances that would have given us the lead right from the first half. A defensive error on the Brescian side - which I'm very happy for - gave us the lead in the final minutes of the game.

We took 3pts away from that game but I'm really hoping to see a better Milan at the next match. See u there.

AC Milan vs Palermo - TIM Cup Quarter Finals, 20th April 2011

Well...all I can say is that the match was a sore disappointment when it came to our defence. I really wish I knew what was going through Allegri's mind when he chose the defenders to play the match. The only tight defender we had was Thiago Silva and who the hell is Socratis?!!!! Even with Silva our defence was trash, and we were chasing those guys from the beginning of the match till the end. I'm only glad it ended in a 2-2 draw and not a loss and I'm really praying Allegri knows what he is doing. In our midfield Pirlo wore the captainship band and played like a captain with seedorf and gattuso, and Boateng helping him. In front Ibrahimovich(scored first goal), Robinho and Cassano played well too. Emmanuelson came in later and scored our final equalising goal. Now it's the second leg we have to look forward to in May meanwhile we have Serie A matches to play before that.

So, moving on to the next match, see u there.

AC Milan vs Sampdoria - 16th April 2010, match 33

First of all, I want to say a big "Congratulations!!!" to Cassano on the birth of his son. The match was slow paced with Milan playing the passing game in defence and midfield. We had 75%possession which is something we haven't seen recently. Seedorf started off the scoring by putting in a free kick from the edge of the box. I was totally surprised cos that was something I did not associate with him. That seemed to boost Milan although it wasn't until the second half that we saw subsequent goals. Abbiati and Pato were out on injuries substituted with Amelia and Cassano. Cassano came in and immediately owned the match working hand in hand with seedorf to create chances which ended up giving us 2 more goals
- one from a penLty by cassano and the other a header by Robinho who had previously missed somegood chances. Our defence was tight and our midfield saw the return of Pirlo from his injury. The fans were amazing as they cheered the team all the way.

All in all the match was a match to watch and I really hope we continue to play like this for the remainder of the season. See u at the next match, ciao.

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

Fiorentina vs AC Milan - 11th April 2010, match 32

The match ended 2 - 1 to Milan. This put us 3pts ahead of napoli who were level with us after winning their match. Our attackers worked hand in hand with the midfielders and some defenders like Abate who came forward frequently. Ibrahimovich missed some clear cut chances and to add to his frustration picked up another red card. He'll miss our next 3 matches which might not be good for us...but I sincerely hope we'll be able to cope without him.

The match was fun...but it's time to look forward to the next match. See u there!!!

Monday, March 21, 2011

AC Milan vs Inter Milan - 3rd April 2010, match 31

Wow!!! Like Wow!!! I didn't see this coming. Milan was a completely different team during the match. We played Inter like it was nothing. 3 goals to nil was a very wonderful win. Seems like milan is finally putting their act together thank goodness, I was beginning to get worried. Although Ibrahimovich was not in the game and Robinho lost a lot of chances that did not take anything away from us cos Pato was on fire and so was Cassano. Cassano got a red card after being in the match for just a few minutes but in those few minutes he had run down the Inter defence until he got a penalty which he scored.

I'm still on cloud nine from this win but we now have to focus on the next match. See u there!!!

Monday, March 14, 2011

Palermo vs AC Milan - 20th March 2011, match 30

Damn!!!! We lost the match 1 - 0 to Palermo. Even though we are still topping the table, we need to pull our act together or our rivals Inter will overtake us. Right now they are 2pts behind us and that is soooo not good. Oh well, what's done is done so let's move on from that and focus our attention on the next match.

Friday, March 11, 2011

AC Milan vs Bari - 13th March 2011, match 29

This match was the most dramatic match we have ever had so far. There were numerous yellow cards on both sides and Ibrahimovich even got a red card after having a very frustrating day. We made a lot of chances, broke the Bari defence time and time again but we never converted any of them. We lost two goals due to disqualification : one from robihno and the other from ibrahimovich. I was very disappointed when the match ended in a draw because in my opinion we deserved to win. Oh well, one point is better than none so ...
On to the next match!

Sunday, March 6, 2011

Tottenham vs AC Milan 09 March 2011 - Champions League

The match was the most anticipated match of the league for us. The Spurs beat us at our home and for us to move on from that we needed to beat them at their home by at least two goals. That did not happen for us as we ended the match on a nil - nil draw. It's still hard for me to believe that we are out of the UEFA League and yes I am very disappointed with our performance but hey, shit happens sometimes whether we want it to or not. Now we have to focus on the remaining matches of the serie A and the Italian cup. I'm really hoping we do better in both. Ciao

Monday, February 28, 2011

Juventus vs. AC Milan - 5th March 2011, match 28

Yayyy!!! We won the match by a goal, but I don't care cos a win is a win no matter how many goals are involved. But I do think we could have done better...I mean, let's face it, Juventus hasn't exactly been on form all season and if we are going to beat Tottenham in the champions league we'll need a lot more than one goal. But all in all we did good and we now top the table at 61pts.

On to the next match...see u there!!!
