AC Milan vs Chievo - 27th November, 2011

For this match, Thiago Silva was our esteemed captain and he showed good leadership by starting out a goal fest in the 8th minute of the game. After a dribble by Boateng who layed the ball down, Thiago delivered a stunning delivery that ripped through the defence and into the left corner of the goal.

The second goal came from Ibrahimovich who delivered a skillful lob at the edge of the area which the goalkeeper could not keep out. It was one of those Ibra signature moves that even the commentators recognised and acclaimed.

The third goal came from a corner kick which the keeper initially saved but was rebounded beautifully by Pato who skillfully displaced the keeper. Pato was not done however, as he played a major role in causing the fourth and final goal of the match.

After executing a beautiful dribble, Pato made a run into the Chievo box where he was promptly rumpled by the Chievo defence resulting in a penalty kick for us. The penalty was taken by Ibra who once again showed his amazing skill infont of the goal with a top right corner penalty that the keeper neither anticipated or expected.

All in all, Milan was sharp in front of goal, and tight at the back which I personally think is what is needed to win any match. This was a match worth watching and now we look forward to our next match, see you there.

AC Milan vs Catania - 6th November, 2011

This was another spectacular match by the Rossoneri which ended in a 4-0 win at the San Siro. Milan got their first goal when Robinho was fouled in the box and a penalty was awarded and was taken by Ibrahimovich. Ibrahimovich and Robinho collaborated again to get the second goal when Robinho recieved a cross from Ibra and proceeded to dance his way into the Catania box then delivered the ball to the back of the net with a great right foot shot.

Robinho was not done yet even after getting a penalty and scoring a goal, he was still active at the front and this resulted in the 3rd goal from a close range shot which could not be stopped. With 3 goals to their name, Milan was not satisfied however and went on to seal the victory with a final goal from Zambrotta who rebounded a freekick taken by Aquilani.

This win moved Milan to the third position on the league table putting us one point behind the league leaders. We are optimistic about the coming matches as it seems that Milan is gradually rising to form, see you at the next match.

AS Roma vs AC Milan - 29th October, 2011

We went to Rome with high expectations looking forward to carting 3pts away on our way back and we did it. We got an early goal in the 16th minute from Ibrahimovich when he used his head to guide a cross from Aquilani into the net. Our celebration was short lived as in the 27th minute, Roma equalised from a corner kick which was not adequately defended. But 2 minutes later, Milan were back in front when Nesta sent a corner kick into the net with a stunning header. Well, it seemed to be a day for headers and what wonderful headers they were.

It was a day for headers and it was also a day for suspensions as Boateng was red carded and coach Allegri was sent off from the field. Regardless of the turmoil on the field, Milan pushed on and got a third goal from an Aquilani-Ibrahimovic collaboration in the 77th minute of the game. The game was far from over as in the 86th minute Roma got yet another goal trying to make a comeback into the game.

Milan, however, were able to hang on till the final whistle of the game ending the match with 2-3 scoreline in favor of Milan. This was an interesting match to say the least, but its time to move on and focus on our next match. See you there...
